Our Method

Every client is referred to the head of one of the departments, whose task it is to attend to him throughout the legal steps undertaken on his behalf and adapt the action taken to the customer's individual needs. The firm is also capable of handling urgent cases such as restraining orders, High Court petitions, urgent transactions and the like. The firm operates through professional departments specialising in the various legal fields.
The office represents both private and large or medium sized corporate clients in all legal matters, and works with corporations in all stages of their development starting from their formation, funding, conducting of negotiations, and drawing up of appropriate agreements.
The firm acts for clients in dealing with various authorities and obtaining necessary permits and licences, and cooperates with accountants' firms in order to meet customers' tax planning requirements. The Litigation Department handles claims lodged with all courts of law and legal tribunals.

Land and Planning and Development Department

This department attends to clients starting from the planning stage, merging and parcellation, zoning changes, agreements with contractors and sub-contractors, combination transactions, tax planning and the sale of housing units. The department maintains constant contact with banks in connection with financial backup deals and guarantees, and deals with all planning matters, the submittal of programmes to Planning and Development Committees, appeals and objections as necessary, and the drawing up of contracts for the agricultural sector. The department also represents clients in compensation claims under Paragraph 197 of the Planning and Development and Law, and compulsory purchase orders.

Commercial-Civil Law Department

This department deals with all branches of civil law including the setting up of corporations, share allocation and financing. The department specialises in planning, carrying out, and following up transactions starting from the preliminary stage, deal structure counselling, carrying out appropriate checks, negotiations and contracts until the transaction is completed. The department accompanies, advises and represents private and public corporations, trading and industrial companies, as well as working with companies in difficulties including corporate recovery, liquidations and bankruptcies, and handles cooperative societies, voluntary associations and partnerships, restrictive trade practices, trusteeships, custody and environmental protection laws.

Taxation Department

This department advises on and handles all taxation matters including Income Tax, VAT, Property Taxes, capital investment encouragement laws and other forms of indirect taxation, as well as dealing with tax planning and offering consultancy services over transactions and contracts to the other departments of the firm.

Litigation Department

This department is engaged on representing the firm's clients at all courts of law including legal tribunals, arbitration and mediation processes.
Torts and Insurance Department
This department handles all areas of torts including medical and professional malpractice, industrial disease, insurance policies etc.

Labour Laws Department

This department attends to the needs of couples prior to marriage, i.e. drawing up of prenuptial financial agreements and consultancy for property owners. The department represents spouses in divorce proceedings at legal tribunals and courts, including reconciliation claims, custody, visitation arrangements, adoption, deed poll and age declarations, division of property and divorce settlements. Also handled are claims under the Hague Convention (return of abducted children), wills and execution of estates.
